He is following his MSc in Compurter Science (2024) at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and, his research are is on Multilingual Embedding Alignment under the supervison of Dr. Nisansa de Silva. He obtained his BSc (Hons) in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering (2020) degree from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He has past industry experice as a Machine Learning Engineer at Zone 24x7 Inc., Sri Lanka for 1.5 years, as an AI Research Engineer at Cognius.ai, Singapore for 2.5 years and, as a Technical Intern at Synopsys Inc., Sri Lanka for 6 months. He is also an associate member of the IESL.

We propose to advance natural language processing for low-resource settings by leveraging data augmentation, transfer learning, and model adaptation techniques to overcome the scarcity of annotated data and linguistic resources.
