BSc Eng. (Hons) (Moratuwa)
I am a Software Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer with experience in building and leading engineering teams with high velocity. Strong areas of interest and my current experience include Algorithms, Data Structures, Kubernetes, Terraform, Networking, Databases, and the AWS Stack. As a Software Engineer, I am very fluent in Python, Java, and Javascript.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, I have experience in building and leading SRE teams in Europe, the US, and Asia, working with distributed teams. I'm in line with all SRE processes according to the Google SRE Book, including but not limited to SLOs, SLAs, Error Budgets, Toil, Observability, Distributed Tracing, Chaos Engineering, Logging, Monitoring, Release Engineering, High Severity Incident Management, Process Automation, and Release Engineering. I have experience in working with both Engineering teams and the management in decision-making for feature delivery vs. reliability fixes.
I also love building software tools that help solve/automate problems and contributing to Open Source projects. Also love writing technical articles in my blog to share knowledge and experience.
