BSc Eng. (Hons) (Moratuwa)
I'm currently a PhD Candidate at University of Melbourne and studying social media analysis.
I'm a graduate from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I specialized in Machine Learning and Data Mining for my Masters degree at University of Moratuwa. Apart from doing studies, I participated in lots of National and International competitions during university life and was able to bring pride to the country and university.
I started my career as a Software Engineer in a startup company; VulcanD & involved in innovative and patented product “Inhalo” & worked there for 1.5 years. Then I started working as a Senior Software Engineer and Associate Tech Lead at another startup; Neominds, where I was involved in developing multiple software products. Through my work experience & other professional activities, I have strengthened my analytical skills, critical thinking & multitasking skills. At Neominds my work expanded to several key areas in software engineering not limited to development, but, client handling and team management.
